SP1070 is a highly refined human serum derived from defibrinated plasma, double charcoal treated and delipidized to remove endogenous hormones, lipids, and interfering substances. This process yields a clean matrix suitable for a wide range of analytical applications including LC-MS, immunoassays, and endocrine panel development.
Each lot is sterile filtered (0.22 µm), preservative-free, and validated to meet strict quality specifications. SP1070 is tested and found non-reactive for HIV, HCV, HBV, and other infectious agents using FDA-approved methods. With low levels of cholesterol (≤10 mg/dL), triglycerides (≤10 mg/dL), and hormone concentrations (e.g., testosterone ≤0.2 ng/mL, estradiol ≤10 pg/mL), this serum provides a reliable matrix for hormone-depleted and lipid-free experimental needs.
