Immunoglobulin & Specialty Disease State Human Plasma

Characterized human plasma specimens with elevated immunoglobulin levels or specialty disease state biomarkers, collected from screened donors at FDA-registered U.S. facilities. These plasma samples support immunoglobulin quantitation assay development, heterophilic antibody interference testing (HAMA), myeloma research, and acute-phase protein assays.

Available as individual donor units or pooled collections, in milliliter to bulk quantities.

Available Specialty Markers

  • Immunoglobulins: IgE (elevated total IgE), IgG (elevated total IgG), IgM (elevated total IgM)
  • Heterophilic Antibodies: HAMA Positive (Human Anti-Mouse Antibody) - critical for interference testing in immunoassays using mouse-derived monoclonal antibodies
  • Hematologic Malignancy: Myeloma - plasma from patients with multiple myeloma, characterized by monoclonal immunoglobulin (M-protein)
  • Acute Phase Proteins: Serum Amyloid A (SAA) Protein - an inflammatory biomarker elevated in infection, autoimmune disease, and amyloidosis

Applications

  • Immunoglobulin quantitation assay calibration and quality control (IgE, IgG, IgM)
  • HAMA interference testing for immunoassay validation
  • Multiple myeloma and monoclonal gammopathy research
  • Serum protein electrophoresis (SPEP) quality control
  • Acute-phase response and inflammatory biomarker assay development
  • Allergy testing platform development (elevated IgE)

All human blood components supplied by Golden West BioSolutions, LLC are obtained from FDA-registered U.S. facilities. Each donor unit is negative or non-reactive for specific viral markers. Patient samples can be provided as banked or prospective collections with volumes >1mL. Browse all disease state plasma categories.
